Two more cards for today, again, using the Doodlebug Designs Santa's Workshop Collection!
My style for Christmas is definitely the bright, candy colours - with two little girls, how could I not :)
The first one is oneof my favourites - the "Santa claus is coming to town" block is cut from the Assorted Cut Outs sheet - these are great value when you're making cards! The colourful stripe is Candy Cane Lane, and the green and white polka dot is the of the assorted cut out sheet. I used a Bazzill Basics LemonLime cardstock base for the base of this card, and accented with glossy accents and kindyglitz.
This card is very modern - from the turquoise stripe to the shape of the diecut topper! I used a die cut from the cute cuts sheet, and applied a Merry Christmas rubon as a sentiment. I used some kindyglitz and glossy accents to bling up the tree, and applied a thin bead of kindyglitz all the way around the edge of the diecut shape.
This card was seriously done in 2 minutes! When you're making bulk cards, the time factor, as well as being as economical as possible is always a big consideration. Keep it simple!
See you tomorrow for another two cards!
Happy Scrappin!
Rita
